Designed by Philippe Starck, Eugeni Quitllet (2010), Lou Read is an armchair/character, with an organic outline, perhaps anthropomorphous, conceived with leather directly fixed on a fiberglass skeleton. The frame is the result of a complex production process: a first outer shell made of Baydur ® is fixed on a steel core which is then attached on another Baydur ® shell and on a polyurethane foams layer. The armchair, then, is entirely covered in leather or nabuk and hand-stitched. Polyurethane Baydur® structure with internal metal reinforcement.
